My car with Philips GT150 Power2Night H7's, coupled up with the PIAA Platinum White sidelight bulbs, closest to LED sidelight bulbs I've seen yet, they look "ice white" and are not too "blue" enough to attract the attention of the boys in blue:-

RSV - I was looking at other options for sidelight bulbs and note you have PIAA Platinum White sidelight bulbs did you at some point in the past try PIAA EXTREME WHITE bulbs? - i seem to remember you tried another sidelight bulb but decided it was too blue - tried to search for post but cant find it, or did I just imagine it lol, the Kelvin rating on the Extreme whites should make it look whiter than the ones you have?? ste

Hi m8, the first sidelight bulbs I had fitted were PIAA Plasma Spark Blue ones, to match the H7 Plasma spark dipped beams. But the sidelights were way too blue for my liking. So i changed them for the Platinum Whites. The pictures dont actually give an accurate representation of what the Platinum White sidelights actually look like in the flesh. They are a bright ice white whereas in the pictures they have a slight blue/purple tinge to them.

Would be interesting to see what the Extreme whites look like if anyone has a set fitted though?. I find the Platinum ones are a pretty good match up with the Philips GT150 Power2Night dipped bulbs I have fitted.

Still not taken the plunge and went HID yet, that will come after the new year at some point.
