Default My car is going to be written off.

Only had it 3 weeks and have been starting to make it feel good.

Only put my SRI rims on last weekend.

Someone went into the back of me at a roundabout, LDV Van, he said his foot slipped off the clutch.

Took it to a garage this morning, he said it will be written off no doubt about it.

Annoying as it means I am back to square one and looking for a decent car again!

The entire back bumper is scuffed, the bootlid has a bent at the top by the badge and there are paint marks all over it. The boot opens but struggle to shut properly.

Thats a shame mate... just remember, if there first offer isn't to your liking, refuse it. I've was offered very low prices for an astra of mine that was written off the same way yours has and their first offer was lower than a snakes ballbag.. don't be afraid to haggle. start finding similar motors spec/mileage/condition etc as yours up for sale and print off the adverts as an indication of the real market value, not the value in parkers guide.

Bummer mate, is the boot floor creased or is it just the bumper / boot lid?

Mate I have just had an RTC as they are now called in my vec c gsi.
My rear bumper was knocked off no damage to the exterior bodywork, minor damage to the panel underneath the bumper.
The other driver admitted full fault and his insurance company wrote my car off.
Its only done 39,000 miles, it was valued at £2500 damage was £2300!!!!!
I have since claimed on my own insurance its now being repaired by the same garage.
I will lose my £200 excess but can claim it back being non fault.
It might be worth speaking to your insurers.

Reemeber, Insurers are now repairing damage on cars upto 90% of the market value to try and save them some money. So if you car is worth £1000 and the repair is going to be £900 they will pay to have it fixed to save them selfs the £100.. If they saved them selfs £100 on every clame they paid that would sharp mount up.
