Default HUD for your veccie ...

Seen this on the LMF site, would be cool if you could get it out of sight into the dash ...

Don't know if this would fit the Vec C. The ad says 'On most Vauxhall cars this is the Blue/Red wire in the radio connector block.'

On the facelift with full canbus there is no speed pulse in the radio. Not sure about pre-facelift.

Would look nasty with a plastic block sat on the dash anyway .

But if you could get it set into the dash it would be cool, I was thinking where the centre speaker is maybe ? Out of sight

saw this a while ago, it'll be a nice toy but all it displays is your speed, no night vision or infra red, and for that kind of money it's quite expenssive just to avoid lower your eyes 6 inches!

But there is a speed pulse to the display above the radio, so you should be able to connect it to this.

Also if you look on the dash in the middle between the windscreen demisting vents just below the windscreen, you will see a ribbed panel in the middle.

Give this a tug upwards and it lifts out leaving a nice space below it, I wonder if you could fit this unit in there?

I'm not sure what it is for, but my SXi had a speaker in there, but my SRi has nothing, just a cable with a connector.

During the time I had the SXi I never heard anything from that speaker, anyone got any ideas what it might be for?

The grille is a low freq speaker iirc, thats where I thought the HUD could go as well, I am sure you could cut a hole in the mesh the size of the projecting thingummy bob on the box, it would be a nice toy ..
