Are you having the box just in the boot or are you removing the rear seats and runnin them in a wall ?
Parallel is a term for the way you wire them either parallel or in series (more than one sub)
WOW x4 15" subs!!! So no back seats then?? lol
You can EASILLY fit 5x15's in the boot of a vectra. I transported 2x 2x15" PA subs in the boot of my old vec. They were 240v so i couldn't wire them in though. Lol
15's need a hell of a lot of space, the box spec on those lanzars is just over 6cuft each that's 24cuft without displacement
a rough idea that would be 48x36x28 (inches) would get you 24.6cuft and that's not allowing for box bracing and sub displacement
And in my opinion running 15's in a sealed box is pointless, you'd be better off with 10's or 12's sealed. A 15" sub is designed to give big drops so you need ported to let them to breathe

Here's a good site for calculations.

well thanks for all the info it realy does help guys i did have the same subs last year but was only half the power and they ran in a sealed box and they hit very hard way to hard i have been to source sound to check the box and they have said i will hit 15db harder running it sealed thats why i have done that as i can only go on what the pro,s say and if anyone that is told somert by a company that are pro,s then u would take there advice as im only about 75% sure on the build on this but im running them two subs in and 2 on the top parallel i think its called
i still have a few other things i need but should be done and running for hull and if its wrong then i will rip it out and start again with the help of who every thinks it should be like or should be then i will see
it ****** hard work!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
You've obviously been misled as what you've been told is pretty much total crap !
Do yourself a favour and loose 2 of the subs maybe even 3, run one sub in a well designed ported box tuned to 28-32hz with about 6cuft and you should hit 140db all day long.
Can I ask what sort of system your after ? Are you looking for a loud bassy spl system or an excellently tuned sound quality system ?
