    Default 345 VXR brakes under 17" Elite's?

    Hi,

I have the 314's under my standard 17" facelift elite alloys at the moment and wondered if I can fit the VXR 345 brakes under them?

    Cheers

The police use face-lift 17" Elite alloy wheels for the very reason that the 345 mm discs and calipers fit under them.

This is good news, looks like I will be getting myself a set of the VXR front brakes to begin with and painting them blue.

I honestly don't think there will be much difference between 314's and the 345's in terms of stopping a standard Vectra

This has crossed my mind as well to be honest and im thinking the only worthwhile upgrade would be to some good 4/6/8 pot brakes with grooved discs. Like the VXRacing or KSport ones on the Courtenay site.

All depend if u want spend excess of a grand on new brakes or not
Vxr vectras have them for a reason and there is difference in stopping distance

most sets of vxr calipers are blue any way bud and vxr breaks will out break any other set in the range they are very good mate trust me

just make sure you get a good set of pads as the standard ones seem to make the abs a little keener to kick in under heavy breaking but the likes of yellow stuff pads etc dont so im told so as soon as i can im changing mine
