    Hi andy
What you need is a cat conversion tool, they come in various sizes but i find that size 10 serves best that and a good approach swing should render cat permanently missing.
As for the car a cutting pad and some 3m fast cut should remove the bulk of the scratches finished off with some poorboys blackhole to tone down the edges

Ive alsways used to hide the little black stone chips and little tiny scratches is black colour magic as the blck die in the polish gets in the scatches and hids them but always use a good autoglym polish to polish the hole car

A black felt tip pen, used for writing on CD's etc, is good for disguising chips and scratches, then polish over.

I'm sure ppl will agree that when a cat scratches your car it's not a good thing at all and it's the cost to put it right I've seen adults a kids go down the side of my car with a toy or a bunch of keys hanging half out of there pocket and done far worse than A cat but we all fail to see that abar from let's blame pro cats I'm no animal lover far from it but I'd like to see anyone kick anti frez or do owt to my cat
