PC Road Sign ?

Round my way they are carrying out routine road repairs, and hve removed some of the road 'hardware'.

OK, so maybe 'Cats Eyes Removed' was a bit gruesome, but to replace it with 'No Road Studs,

What the heck is a road stud ( careful how you answer that )

Why not - 'No Cats Eyes' - less horrible, but at least we know what they mean. Does anyone call cats eyes anything else - really ?

Cats Eyes are one type, road studs covers all the different types including those that are non-reflective

DfT require they are refered to as road studs in all reports and signage
This can also include those fitted at pedestrian crossings, box junctions, roundabouts, bus lanes, and so on

Well I'm sure that the DfT thought there was some sense in that requirement. I can't see how any mere mortal would bother about it though?
