92k just had it to garage and he said clutch! But its not riding or slipping or anything, but he said its goin the other way where it finds biting point too soon! Is this right can a clutch go a differnt way to the usual slipping right at the top?

A slipping clutch wont affect gear changes. A faulty Master or slave cylinder will, as the plates will not be allowed to seperate properly for gear changes. A slipping clutch will affect acceleration and fuel economy.
