    Default Past mot today with dpf removed......

    Thought id let you guys know that my car past mot today with no issue with emissions and i had my dpf removed and mapped out about 3 months ago , ive got the z19dth in my saab 93 and with all the talk about more strict rules i did worry a bit but was not a prob after

    Do you have the box still in place or a straight through bit of pipe?

    With it removed you wont fail the emissions anyway.

    I put a straight through pipe inside dpf so it still looks standard

    I know of no legal requirement to have one fitted. A cat yes! (if vehicle was originally equipped with one). As long as vehicle passes smoke test that's all that matters.
    However keeping the dfp in tact is prudent should the law change.

    I will get our MOT tester to give me the failure code.

    Its something like 'Exhaust has missing components fitted at factory'
