    Default how crap are vauxhall wheel nut braces?

    went out earlier to paint my brake calipers,managed to do one then my vecs wheel nut brace decided too round itself off so now i cant get ****** wheels off! not the first time ive had this problem,why cant this wrench be of a standard that will last? most annoying,now need to either source another one or buy a decent one from halfords!aarrgghh

    Get a decent one from halfords, i got the extending one after mine twisted back on itself!!

    The wheel braces are indeed shocking. Not up to the job, and don't even really fit the studs properly. Annoying things is, when it sort of slips and slides about on the studs, it also damages the alloys themselves. I've stuck an aftermarket extendable one in the boot instead.

    i think ill definately be investing in proper brace

    I have the extendable aftermarket one in boot also that I bought for vectra don't even have a spare wheel but still use it
