New phone suggestions please.....and reasons:
I have an iphone 3GS which has been great, only the battery now causes it to turn off prematurely. Well known apparently that approaching 2 years the battery will fail.

So I'm thinking:
iphone 4s
HTC 1X
Samsung Galaxy s3

Only issue I have with Samsung, is that my partner has a Samsung Wave and I think it's awful. Had loads of software glitches and I found it hard to navigate and use.

4S for me it will be, will be on the 19th July when I can upgrade from my 3GS anyways.

I've never really liked samsungs tbh, they don't seem to have changed the layout much over the years, and the HTC's, well my dad loves them but I can't get used to his

My 3gs is 3 years old and never had prob with battery. Just got a 4s and am waiting for a jailbreak for 5.1.1

I think its down to personal preferance to be honest, if you are happy with the iPhone family then prob best to stick with it! Im an Android fan so i will be getting the new samsung S3 soon, it will be running the new Android Ice-Cream Sandwich OS then hopefully it will upgrade to JellyBean when its released at the end of the year. The only thing i dont like with the iPhone is that i think the screen is too small and the camera is a bit crap. But Apple are the marketing giants so they remain very popular!

If you cant wait, get an HTC 1X or Samsung Galaxy s3 as both look amazing!! If you can hang on till October(ish) wait and see what the next iphone has to offer. I personally wouldn't buy a 4S as they're coming up to 8 months old now with some of the technology inside already 2 years old, which is old in tech terms especially when you think you'll be stuck with what ever you buy for another 2 years (assuming you take a contract).

I was happy to keep my 3GS and run a bundle, but the battery turns the phone off when using apps or tinternet. It's fine for phone use and texting, I considered waiting and may do but it's looking like October for the 5 and god knows what the price will be for the handset

Wave runs on Bada which is Samsungs own operating system. S3 runs android which is far superior and almost as many apps as iphone
