    Hi,

Does anyone know somewhere decent ( and cheap) to get air con recharged in Ayrshire, West coast of Scotland?

    Cheers

Any Kwik Fits in the area?

They're normally ok and have deals going.

    Plug and play equipment, etc.

Stopped off at Kwik Fit on Prestwick Road, Ayr on way home tonight. £49.00 for re-charge. I suspected that my system may have a leak which they confirmed during the process. Supervisor showed me where leak in condenser was but no charge was made.

Correct. Their policy is not to charge you any money if the system informs of a leak.

So what is an average / good price.
There is a place near me that are advertising a recharge for £39. I need it doing and have never done it before so want to know if that’s a good price before I get it done

£39 is a good price. Do you still have to pay if they find a leak?

Unless you're 100% confident you haven't then you may be paying for something which is dissapearing as quickly as it is put in.
