    Default Headlight protector removal

    Hi all

My Vectra came with the OEM headlight protectors fitted, look like they've been on from new as the headlights are a tad dirty underneath.

Does anyone have any idea how to remove them?! There is only one visible screw and they look like they are secured underneath the headlight. I don't want to pull the too hard in case I break them

    Cheers

Oh no I was hoping it wouldn't be that! If the lights are removed do they have to be re-aligned when they are refitted?

Seems mad to have to do that just to clean them... thanks Vauxhall!

Cool thanks, I'll take a look - might leave them unbolted at the bottom or find another way to secure so I can whip them off for cleaning in the future!

I guess while the lights are out I can upgrade the bulbs

I have headlight protectors fitted in the winter to my pre-facelift Signum. There is only one screw holding them on.

    Like so.....

The bottom just slides under the headlight, so should just pull out.

Not sure if you have a pre or post facelift car.

As Keif says, mine are the same, one screw at the top, then gently tilt and pull towards you, no fixings underneath unless facelifts are different?

Thanks guys, my Vec is a facelift but the basic design is the same as in the image - I'm going to try to take them off on Wednesday so will post back.. if it's possible to take them off without removing the bumper that will be a result

Facelift models identical. Remove the top screw and pull away gently from the bottom of the headlight. Have had them fitted to mine for 5 years now with no problems.
