    Default Vectra or mondeo?

Cut a long story short, taking a mate from work car hunting tomorrow and he's set on either a Vectra or Mondeo, preferably diesel. Obviously because im deeply in love with my Vectra, as with most on here lol I've told him to stay clear from the mondeos and a Vectra is the only way forward!

However after having a quick browse on autotrader it seems you get alot of better spec mondeos than you do vectras, for example...

    Compared to this...

So I know we've had this topic millions of times but.....vectra or mondeo?

One of my mates had a 07 mondeo st tdci and i have to say my vectra is a lot better built and has a better interior and i think the st looked more dated from the outside as well. and he took it back to ford 3 times for differrent things i got mine from a dealer and its
    never missed a beat.

Heard all about injectors, flywheels and bottom ends going, but the vectra diesels suffer from the same faults

imo you just cant beat the vectra, mind you im biased as ive had a few and can honestly say ive never had an ounce of bother with any of the cdtis or even the petrol ones for that matter,i also imo think you are either ford or vauxhall and im deffo a griffin fan thru and thru;-)

Out of those two I'd go Vec, it's the older DTi engine with no real hassles
