Default Which Sat Nav for Android phones?

I'm off on holiday in July and want to get a Sat Nav for my iphone as my old Tom Tom is really outdated.

I have an iPhone which has co-pilot full European on which I used to ride my bike to hungary, slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Holland and France and it never missed a beat. The problem is that is now my daughters phone and she will be playing her games on it to entertain herself in the back seat.
I want to get a set up on my Galaxy S2 and the GPS receiver is really accurate on google maps and Nav. Naturally I need a separate app that doesn't need an internet connection but heard mixed reviews about co-pilot being a bit buggy.

It must have full European mapping.

    What do other members have/recommend?

What's wrong with the google navigation that comes free with phone? I've used mine plenty of times without any problems

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II

I'm driving across europe and google maps needs an internet connection to download maps as it goes along, it will cost a fortune to use it. I use it all the time in the UK

Navfree was always a good one

Setup is quite long/large as it needs to download maps, so wifi is recommended

All country maps are available, just pick the one(s) you want

I would recommend sygic, it was based on tomtom when it first came out. Same as navfree regarding the maps.
