Can I have SRi springs with sport gas shocks meant for a lowered car?

I currently have 35mm lowering springs and sports gas shocks for use with lowered cars. If I fit SRi springs which lower the car only 15mm would the sports shocks made for lowered cars still be fine or would they be too short? Do I need longer shocks for SRi springs, if so are they also different from standard length shocks?

Previously I had yellow Jamex sport shocks with sri springs on my Vec B and had no problems at all for more then a year.
Then sold the car to one of my mates from the place I work and never heard of any issues from him
The stance was like SRI just the ride was firmer and tight round the corners
