Autovaux Pricing??

Pair of front 285 discs £29.50 vented
Pair of rear 278 discs £39.95 solid (vented ones are £0.45 cheaper too)

Any ideas? Have I been really silly here or is there something strange about that???

Have you tried phoning them to confirm the prices?

Also, why are you only looking at disk prices. Best practice is to change the pads as well and order a pad/disk kit.

95 for rear discs and pads
75 from front discs and pads

Rears will be gen Vx pads hence the higher price, the fronts will be mintex pads. WhenI last got pads from autovaux this was the case.

Big Dave - I was checking whether I would get a better deal buying seperate - just in case, I'm a tight Scot after all lol! (plus I have nearly new pads on the front!)

Thanks for the replies lads, I have seen 4 discs and 8 pads on ebay for £80 anyway!

Suply and demand. Cars simply go through fronts more than rears. More units sold = lower price. Might seem daft but thats economics for you.
