Driving with a broken flexi?

Im abit skint at the minute and know my flexi joint at front of exhaust has broken, i hear a deep tone at start up and had it on a ramp and seen one side broke away. Anyways i need to do a 300 mile round trip soon. Do you think i will be ok or should try get it done? What will happen if continue driving with a broken flexi? And can a broke flexi cause a rattle also as i can hear that?? I will get it done its just not a good time. thanks.

The fumes rise into the cab from it so it aint advisable. I done 400mile when i picked mine up and felt a little sick. It wil cause a slight rattle. I paid £70 ish to get mine replaced at a custom exhaust place. hth
