rolleyes Lowering Estate, How low do you go? 30 35 40 45.....70?

I know this has probably been covered a thousand times but my car seems to ride really high.

Its a 2005 Design spec. I thought putting bigger wheels on might help but its just way too high.

I estimate that from the tyre to the arch its 70mm. Is it possible it was previously on monster truck tyres.

I think it needs a 45mm drop but then I am going to need new shocks. What else I am looking at work wise? I think I can fit them myself after buy some spring compressors and maybe some torx sockets (sizes anyone). Does the camber need altering. Tracking?

I will put some pictures up so you can see what I mean, a lot of estate I see near me are SRi models which I understand are 15mm lower, but mine could almost straddle those.

PS. What about these bargain springs...

There is a thread in handling and braking about these springs. Cheap springs . Mark has fitted and they are very low.
