    anyone tried these cree led bulbs in their sidelights.?

    If those are as bright as the pics in the advert make them look, you're asking for trouble fitting them in sidelights as the sidelights aren't diffused at all and sit within a reflector so the full brightness of the bulb will be blinding and uncontrolled. My bet is Mr Plod won't be none too happy with that.

    I have a couple of CREE torches and we recently drove into the new forest at night, turned off the headlights and shone a single CREE LED Torch through the windscreen to drive, it was excellent. (Disclaimer - Whilst I had success, I would not recommend these actions to anyone)
