    Default Clutch Problem

    Morning Guys,

I think my clutch maybe on its way out. Itís on a 2.0T on a 53 with 85000 on the clock.

Is it a case of replacing the clutch or should I be getting other things done at the same time.

Any ideas on price for this job.

    Cheers
    Phil.

Firstly, what are the symptoms? If the clutch is indeed worn, the have the dual mass flywheel replaced at the same time.

Only reason i think it's on its way is the peddle suddenly seems to have a very high bite point, apart from this the car runs as well as it ever has.

I thought only diesels had a DMF?
