    Default Screw in tyre?

But not dropping PSI, noticed it while doing wheel tape...

Looked too long to pull it, if keeping pressure is there a chance it's not gone all way in... Know for a fact if I need to get it puncture repaired they'll knack my wheel, that's always my luck!

Its possible but it might be leaking very little at the mo but if you leave it in there it might suddenly give and cause a blowout etc! Id personnaly get it looked at asap. Have you tried sqirting water over the screw to see if air bubble appear?

Ha no, but now I feel stupid for not thinking of it... I'll try that, then debate pulling... May fill it with tyre foam first tho lol

And no it's in middle of the tread...

you may be lucky then means its in the middle of the tread. i had a nail in one of my tyres in the middle

as soon as i started to take it out the tyre started to hiss

depending on how big the hole is you maybe able to save it means its not in the wall i paid 7 pounds for my puncher

some garages may not be interested in mending it

I agree, providing it is in the repairable area, get it repaired irrespestive

It will NOT cause an explosive tyre failure
If the nail is expelled the tyre will simply lose pressure in about 90 seconds, depending on its size
In most cases you will also hear the nail as it is expelled, either as it hits the plastic shields or the chassis (in extreme cases it can re-enter the tyre again in a different position)

Use a tyre fitter that you trust, however this isn't something that can really be bodged unless the person is a right dead stone...
National Tyres used to do free tyre repair vouchers
Equally, the outlet that originally fitted may agree to do it free, if you request new valve and rebalance
    * When visiting, request a new valve and rebalance, as it will need it
