Engine steam clean

I have a vehicle in a friends garage as it has a bad oil leak, he's had a look but as the underneath is covered in oil he can't see much, he has asked me to get the engine steam cleaned and take it back to him, he took it to one of those hand wash car washes in a petrol station and they wern't interested.

Any ideas where I can get this done, the vehicle is in strood, Kent so I would like to get it done around there.

A hand car wash (jet wash lance) uses cold water
Sounds like they refused as someone has claimed against them previously

Steam cleaning, uses exactly what it says; hot water
Search locally for that specific term
This should cost around £15, if it is cheaper than this make sure they are actually using hot (steam) water and not just a cold jet wash

You could use a local jet wash, but there are some methods you need to use, to take into account the pressure and the cold temperature
Throughout keep the engine running, do NOT switch it off
Select the basic option (lance only)
The first spray will include soap, hold this about two foot from the engine and apply in short bursts, allow the soap to flow through gravity
Do NOT spray any soap on to the exhaust area or beyond the bulkhead (below the windscreen)
The next spray is high pressure (cold) water
Using the same technique as above, but pass the spray across the car (left to right, or right to left), at the end of each sweep allow the residual water to pass through the engine bay and evaporate with the heat
Due to the danger of steam do not repeat the next sweep until the steam has ceased
Finally, wash backward under the car, to remove residual dirt from the frame, you can place the lance about 6" from the chassis, but again avoid the exhaust components
When you have finished drive the car for at least 20 minutes and recheck the engine bay for any residual water, only then switch off

Thanks, from what I understand he needs it cleaned from underneath, I've googled it to death maybe I need to get a list of car washes and ring them in the morning.

It could be more of a valeting company than just a car wash that you need.
