    Default springs and ride height

Hi my 2.2 direct SRI petrol has an axle weight of 990 front and 985 rear, the distance between the centre of the wheels to the arch is 370mm front and 350mm rear with a full tank, I would like to drop it lower as I am fitting new 18" wheels, as I have standard front shocks and B4 rears that are about a year old, wheats the best to go for, 30 mm drop or 45mm/40mm and what make of springs do I go for??

My 2.2 direct veccy c SRi is running on standard shocks, eibach -30mm springs and 18" XP2 multispoke alloys.

Have a look in my garage.

that looks just right, not too much of a gap between the wheelarch and the tyre and not too low

Yep, I am very happy with it, the ride is firm (but not OTT) and the handling much more precise, the cars feels nice and planted.
