Sump plug

Hi all, first post i put up seems to be missing, anyway like many others trying to remove sump plug has become a bit of a problem, even using six sided impact socket it has rounded, will the irwin nut removers def work, i dont want to pay £20 and im still in the same situation, what methods has anyone used on here with success, i dont have a ramp and i use axle stands, find acces a bit tight.

I'm in the same boat i went to do mine the other day didn't even get a socket out and noticed it was rounded off so went to the dealers got a new sump plug and just waiting on my irwins coming they will come in handy that's why i just went and got them

deff buy irwins they worked a treat with mine and the one i used was worn

went to my local tool shop tonight (Dad's) house and got a stiltson man this thing grips, will try over next few days when i get time, it will either remove bolt or rip the head off it,

Edit: but mine was 8mm 10mm 13mm 14mm 16mm

had 3 rounded off ones now, always used my trusty 12mm socket on them, never failed me yet.
