Default Diesel housing looks like it could have a small leak :-(

Cleeaned my EGR and Boost Sensor today and noticed that diesel filter housing looked greasy. I felt underneath and its wet but cant see a drip or ovious leak point.

It might just be the seal as I have known 'O' rings to leak.

Would a leak reflect on mpg computer? I cant see it been to much as cant see a leak just wet residue. But with current prices every drop counts :-D

Presume you still have the 1.9 cdti (150) as shown on your profile - helps if you tell us what model/year. Where is the leak on the bottom of the filter housing or the top - if the bottom have you checked the small drain screw is secure and sealed and also the fuel pipe connections?
