    Default Half screen to full screen,

    Bought new full size screen (not say nav) to replace half screen with two buttons on it. Any one confirm it'll be a straight swap? Will I need anything to make it work fully?

    2006 exclusiv estate 1.9cdti 150.

    Thanks :-)

    Has it been divorced from the head unit from the donor car? If not you'll need it sorted out by Tech2 mate.

    Usually, wiring wise - it should be plug and play to fit a Full CAN BID / GID or CID in place of a TID

    BID = Board Info Display
    CID = Colour Info Display
    GID = Graphical Info Display
    TID = Triple Info Display (with clock buttons on bezel)

    Some people have found that they do not have wires in pins 2 and 3 of the Display connector.

    If not, then you need to do as follows: -
    Pin 1= brown - link this to pin 2 (ground wire)

    Pin 5= red - link this to pin 3 ( CAN controlled Live - fused supply on 5)

    Regarding Opcom / Vauxcom - The official comment is that you should speak to Ilexa or Auto3m, as they will provide free customer service and information to official unit (type D interface) owners.

    Unofficial versions with type b / b+ interfaces are not discussed on this forum.

    However in basic terms: -
    You need to get your display in the divorced condition if fitting it with your existing head-unit.

    If fitting pre-married display AND head-unit, then no programming should be required.

    IF the donor display is still paired to donor vehicle, then you need the donor vehicle's audio pass / car pass number to allow you to divorce it. And even then this does not always work, unless using Tech2 / Tech3 / TIS2Web.
