Check fuse 17 at the passenger end of the dash board.

i have just inspected fuse no.17 visually and it looks fine...there are 3 fuse compartments according to my handbook....i have pulled out each individual fuse and inspected it as there are no fuses specific to the fuel gauge.....funny thing is i think the temp.gauge has stopped working also....any ideas guys?

Was the Temp gauge working ok before? Could be that the thermostat has failed. What Stereo do you have? You can check the Temp in the menu of some of the higher spec stereo's, that may give you a clue if the thermostat is working ok or not.

The temperature gauge needle won't work until the temperature reaches 70, and if your thermostat is stuck open and cooling the engine too much, the needle will take a long time to move, so you have to be sure that the engine is definitely warm enough for the needle to have supposed to have moved. Does the needle stay still even when the engine has been running for a while and you're stuck in traffic?

If you lift the rear seat you will see a panel that gives you access to the fuel pump, sender unit should be there in beside the pump.
