    Default AFL Control unit

I think my AFL control unit is broken, and Opel in Norway can not help me with this part only. They say i have to bay the whole new headlight. Is this something you can help me with?

The item have this nummber on it

    AFL Control Unit
    24 453 414
    5DF 008 278-30
    0837596
    16.12.03 SW:KW3003 DL

I get the yellow headlight warning sign on the dash.

I have tried to switch the AFL power modul-mini from left to right. But i have the same problem on left side. The xenon light on right side adjusts the angle, but on the left side it does only goes up and down.

I read something about this "It may simply have come off the joint inside the headlight mate. You'll need to take the whole unit off and remove the back cover and have a look inside" on this page http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/archiv.../t-130655.html

But i can not see anything wrong. Not that i am not sure to what i should look for.IMAG0045.jpg

    Anyone who can help me?

    Vehicle : insignia tourer

    Trim : elite

    Engine : 2.0 cdti 160

    Year : 2011

    Default

youve got 3 modules- 1 under each headlamp and the 3rd is attached to the die of the passenger headlamp

you cant really see anything obvious looking into the headlamp itself but your best getting tech2 on it

as that way it find the wots at fault.

it cud even be something simple like 1 of the level sensors faulty etc.

what are the headlamps doing exactly for you to think it cud be a module ???

Opel in norway who said that is was either the control unit or the headlight itself. They have had tech2 on it. But it can not tell what exactly item who is broken. Only that there is something wrong with the afl

The headlamps are to low with the lights. And the AFL warning lamp is flashing on the dash.
