    Default Burning oil

Just come back from a 750 mile trip to Disneyland. 390 miles there and back. Before I left I checked the oil level and it was about half.
I added what I had, which I believe filled it up.
Got 50 miles from home on way back and my oil light came on and stayed on.
I have yet to check what is left and I have the 2.2 Direct.
Does that seem normal for this engine to burn that much oil?
Granted, I understand that a long journey like that would keep the engine hot but that does not seem right.
I was given the car and told it does burn oil but wouldn't think I would need to use 5 liters since september.

Id be getting a compression test carried out as that's a lot of oil to use I'd be suspecting worn piston rings

    Whats mileage is it on?

    Default

    mileage is 133000.
After putting 1.5Ltr in before I left which looked like it was filled the light came on.
What the norm price for a compression test?
Do VX do this with trade card?
