Indicators not making an audible sound

The clicking sound that normally accompanies the Indicators when they are working has not been working on my 2008 Vectra Life 1.9CDTI for a few weeks now. The Indicators themselves are working fine. Any ideas on what I need to do to eradicate the problem. If I need to change the Flasher unit can you clarify where it is located please.

Flasher unit doesn't make the tick tock noise.

It's done electronically and uses the same speaker as the headlights on, key in ignition, parking lights, and rear wiper.

Do they all still make a sound, or are they mute too?

Thanks for the reply. I just checked and they are also mute. Can this function have been turned off in some manner by using the Radio program controls and then obviously be re-instated by re programming, If so how?
