    Eek When will it end!!!

Now I know that I will have to get the dmf, clutch and bearing and csc done at the end of the month which is not going to be cheap but I don't believe this.

Had a knocking noise from underneath at the back. Had a check on getting home and found the rear bracket of the centre section of the exhaust has completely corroded. Cheapest replacement centre pipe section through the usual outlets is £340. So searched the net as sod's law if I replace that then in a few weeks no doubt another section will need doing. So I tried looking for a replacement system from the cat back in stainless steel. Rang several places who supply or manufacture them and I knew it would cost as it is the 3.0 V6 CDTi. However as it is an estate that ruled some out. Then because it has a dpf that killed the rest of them. Anyway am going to Powerfow in Nottingham tomorrow who hopefully can do a cat back system but I am looking at around £700. Add that the other jobs mentioned earlier in the post and in the next month it is going to set me back £1500!!!

Jesus, talk about a house being a money pit

Just get another bracket welded to the centre section if there is nothing wrong with the actual exhaust. I just used galvanised wire and it all still holding perfectly.

Thought about that but it has been on over 7 years so I may as well swallow the bitter pill
