    Default Stiff Gear Change

Some advice please guys. Have noticed in the last couple of months that changing gear is no longer a nice smooth single step process. It is a clear 2 step proces, first from the current gear then into neutral and then into the next gear (this is regardless of which gear it is in) and sometimes it has to be pushed into the next gear very firmly. In addition when pressing the clutch pedal it does sound rattly. Finally when in reverse it is very juddery.

Reading the forums does this sound like the dreaded DMF failing or the clutch?

If it is either I will obviously get them both replaced but if it is the clutch should I also get the bearing and csc done too?

To be honest i bought the full kit from euro parts, i am sure it came with clutch , flywheel , bearing but i had to go to deals for the bolts. what hold the flywheel due to the old ones looked streched. Hope this helps you.

    Update.
Picked the hearse up after a respray repair. Started to pull away and it felt as though the brakes were stuck on and there was a slight knock. Anyway pulled away and since then the gear change has been sweet and smooth, also it is no longer juddery in reverse? The clutch still makes a noise when the pedal is pressed so I have it booked in to have the clutch, bearing, csc and dpf done. Am a bit baffled by this though?!

Just had a message to ring the place replacing the the above. They can only locate one clutch in the UK for the hearse and that does not come with the bearing. Unfortunately it is at Vauxhall in Luton and will be an extra hundred quid. Have therefore cancelled it as the hearse is ok at the moment. Just need to sort out the rattle/knock coming from the rear.
