Default What exhaust can I fit to my Vectra C 1.8 05?

    Hi guys,

I know this may be the wrong section, but I cannot post in the sale section.
So I am posting here for some advice on what dual outlet exhaust I can fit to my car.

The current system on there is a y section with dual back boxes but 1 has broke off by the rear joint so if I can not get it repaired as its quite rusty then my only other option is to replace it, but I don't have a scooby do on what fits it!

    The car is a Vectra C 1.8 hatch on a 05 plate.

    I am in Bristol.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks Paul,

I just tried Eurocarparts but they dont seem to list the y-section on a 2.2
I have emailed the Admin on here to see if I can post an ad in the sale section, see if anyone is selling one.

Its not the for sale section you need its the Wanted section, which non fulll members can post in bud.

you have a few options you can spend £400+ and get one made up from cat back
as second hand ones dont come up very often (except the one im putting up in a week or so)
or you can buy the orginal parts again new from a 2.2 or 3.2 or 2.0t and then like paul said get a reducer to fit from the back of your cat on to the new exhaust again a bit costly
or do what ive done and wait for a few mth for the right 2 backboxes at the right price to come on to ebay and with a bit of praying and constantly refreshing the page to make sure ive not been out bid you can win some 2nd hand then buy something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3505626070...84.m1439.l2649 for the middle section as it has no middle box so should make the standard boxes sound a bit less than standard but you will still need to get a reducer which are cheap enough and either fit it your self or go to a garage they should do it for about £30 a hour labour that all it should take them

    Thanks Guys,

Tristan, your idea seems ok! Thanks chap, may I ask what system are you putting up?

Will that Race Pipe! and 2 back boxes cause enough back pressure for the car to run right at the same time making it a little growl but not over loud for the motorway journey's?

    Thanks

Another issue is that I can find a back box for the left side but I cannot find 1 for the right side!
