    Default washer fault

    Hi all i just got my self a CDC40 and set it up the day all went well didnt have to do anything but it said i had 2 faults/errors it said i had a brake light out and yip it was right so changed the bulb but it also says my window washer level is low but i have filed it up so do you think i have a sticky float?

    you probably do not have the level sensor fitted..

    Thanks is there anyway of turning it off or will i have to get a sensor for it just bugs me every time i turn the car over that pops up lol

    I would doubt the Club has the level sensor, as this something monitored and reported by the Driver Info Centre on the higher trim levels

    Vauxcom or tech2 will disable that. Where are u located? As when u say, then people close by with the kit will pm u to arrange? :-) lets hope everyone on here is as generous as I am :-D

    Can't the OP just find the connecting plug for the washer bottle sensor and short the 2 wires out to fool the check system into thinking the the sensor is reporting the bottle is full?

    That's of course if he has the connector plug?
