Details should be in the front of the service book
Otherwise visit the Service Department of a dealership and ask for a blank copy of the schedule

Official recommendation is 10 yrs or 100,000 miles (whichever is soonest)

But people are changing them earlier than that (by 60,000 miles, IIRC) because the water pump doesn't go the distance - needs changing too.

    Really?
I've never had an issue with a water pump before 100K miles

The original reason for reducing the interval was the failure of the rollers, this has been resolved by introducing a cambelt kit which includes the rollers

It would be prudent to replace the water pump at each cambelt replacement interval; perhaps reduce the interval to 80K miles, but the original should reach 100K miles without any issues, thereafter reduce the interval (wear and tear)

Well there's a few on here that have had problems well before 100k

There's no way i'd risk 100k with any belt & water pump... mine had the lot done twice by the time it had reached 125k

Exactly - which is why I mentioned it.

It is also false economy NOT to change the waterpump at the same time if driven by the cambelt. If the pump fails before the next belt change, you end up paying twice for the work. For a few extra £££ and for piece of mind it makes sense to change the pump when doing the belt.
