Anyone have AA 5 star warranty?

i am aware to claim on the warranty you must have your car serviced within manufacturers instructions.

so if a claim is made would they just want to see your service book with all the necessary stamps, or would they also contact the garages to confirm

they normally asked for a proof of servicing along with a vat invoice to back service book....

I claimed for an o2 sensor and I had to supply my service book and the invoices for the services. Think they defo wanted last service invoice and any that have been done during warranty cover. Plus MOT cert. I think they also contacted the garage that did the services.

It does not need full just once took out policy u need to service it to manufactures recommended schedule I have just took this out

I made three claims on my policy
After presenting the car at the dealership with the paperwork I emailed a scanned copy of the service book
They then confirmed this direct with the dealership (as the car has been to the same garage throughout)

All the AA wanted was for the dealership to confirm the previous service had been perfomed within the schedule

oh well looks like im ******ed, got dealers stamps from my mate that works at vx and has caried out the services , but no vat invoices , £500 down the drain

i have never been asked to prove anything to them concerning a claim, even when the miggy broke down and that had 240k miles on the clock and i did the servicing

The service wasn't carried out by the dealership then...
You could push it and ask for a copy of the receipt, but if it is not official then you've had it (what comes around, comes around)

I spoke to the AA today about this, and i asked them about what if i service the vehicle myself, they quoted to me "as-long as you document it, and have receipts for parts + a note to say you have done it its all fine"

This i Dont believe for 1 minute though!
