EGR Valve Y20DTH

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide to remove the egr valve on said engine. Opened up the throttle body before just after replacing my glow plugs and damn that was dirty. Never seen anything like it. CM thick gunk all over

if it was that dirty i would clean this aswell . http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145119 its the same as the 2.0 dti engine

if you say where you're from beradsticz, then some kind soul will probably offer to show you.....
There are tricky to move when gunked up- spray it with wd40 from above(with the inlet manifold removed- you called it the throttle body-I think). then have a cuppa and it'll be much easier to wriggle out ;-)
