Default Vec c estate skirts and splitter question

Has anyone painted the original plastic skirts, front and rear splitters on a Vec estate. Anyone got a pic if they have. Or would it be worth saving for others and get them sprayed. Pre face by the way.

Lots of sanding needed mate but it has been done to good effect, the front splitter will be an issue though as it flexible so will crack when painted if touched on bumps etc but the front will be fine with aftermarket splitter

Cheers for that. Might wait for the weather to get better and give it a go. Not sure what to do with the front splitter if it will crack easily. Maybe an after market one. I have the standard front bumper with fogs. Not sure what splitter to use for that. Would it look strange with an aftermarket front splitter and standard skirts and rear? Ho hum ...

Thanks for your replies. Your black estate looks might fine as does the signum. If I can get mine anywhere near like that I'll be well chuffed. Plastic primer you say and you have had no problems with cracking? I will wait for the sun to come out and give it a bash. Still unsure whether to spray the current front splitter or go for an aftermarket one. Either way, thanks for all your input. Has helped me greatly.
