Default signum 3.2v6 how much to pay

I'm need to this board but I've owned many vauxhalls in the past including mv6 omegas sri vectras

I've just bought a signum 53 plate with 192k on the clock but its had another engine fitted which has done 46k but owner doesnt know if the cambelt has been changed in the replacement engine
so the question is should i risk it or get it done asap and also how much is a car like this worth its mot'd until november no tax but has been serviced by local garage for last 6 years present owner has put most of the miles on car.
Bodywork looks ok and has good tyres and recent exhaust and battery but front exhaust section will need replacing before mot

I personally wouldn't bother with the cambelt until about 60K to 80K miles, as part of the next service
That way if any faults develop in the engine then the cambelt can be done then, if required

This is quite difficult to value, as it is an old chassis with a new engine
Personally, I would go for the lowest valuation as anyone is just going to look at the mileage and age
    I would say between £1200 and £1500

Its an elite model if that makes any difference
I've always fancied a signum and had a look at fuel figures and they don't look any worse than some of the other cars i was looking at
Also what about the auto box are they good or could it be a problem in the near future car has done mainly motorway journys

With those miles, new engine or not I wouldn't pay more than £1200. All the other bits have done 192k! There are some on eBay with 90k on the clock for around £2-3k.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Not with this kind of mileage
Hence why I always say when looking at a car buy the best spec possible
A basic spec when its old will be worth much less

Equally, a higher spec car then has more to go wrong when it is older...

Middle to top, depending on what you want, as in effect there are three trim levels above that
Basically has all the electrical toys, without the sports suspension
The interior is also designed for the "more mature" owner, with wood effect rather than metallic looking finishes
