    Default angel eyes fitted

    after looking for options to smarten front end i decided on angel eyes with black surrounds. got them fitted this weekend with 100w high beam bulbs hoping to match 6000k hid dip beam also fitted opel grill with insignia badge. im well pleased with result.
    as i have said before never posted pics up but will have a go later in the week.
    how on earth do you replace the angel eyes bulbs with leds as i cant even see the bulbs?

    Wouldn't put 100w bulbs in them fella, the lenses are plastic and get WAAAAYYYY to hot with 100w bulbs in. Turn the main beam on for a few seconds and feel the outside of the lens for an idea...

    I went with the ring xenonmax bulbs and doing the headlight adjustment mod on mine along with 6000k hids in the dipped beam it's like driving in the daylight at night now.

    As for the bulbs in the halos, there's one pair of wires (black and read that goes to four bulbs in each halo, you can actually remove the whole section of wire to replace the bulbs but they are damned fiddly to get back into place again.

    Edit: just realised yours is a facelift so the bulbs for the halos "may" be different

    nope facelift is what you told me Ian ...and yes they are freeking fiddly

    down to bulbs and the resistor required .

    oh joy bumper off and guess which bulbs i have just removed..........
    ring xenon max back in then.
