    Default Upgraded suspension Vectra OPC

    Hell guys, im new here.
As you can guess wildy im from sweden.
I search info how to disable IDS system with OP-Com.
I have fitted H&R springs with KYB shocks.
    the ride improved a lot.

but a little problem,, the shocks light in the cluster.
I need to disable IDS system.

A friend of mine has OP-Com and says it is possible to reprogram the ecu.
but,, as it is a Chinacopy there are no manual.

    Anybody been doing this?
Or did you leave the car at the local Opel/Vauxhall shop?

    btw.. pic of the car:

Fantastic looking car mate. Love your wheels.

I'm sorry to say that discussion of copied Op-com software is not tolerated on this forum. if it was genuine then the owner would have tech support built into the software.
This is just a heads up, if a forum moderator see this thread asking for help regarding op-com then it will get closed.

Without the correct support I would take it to the dealers and have it sorted by them. For no other reason than if it goes wrong they will have to put it right. If you go through the copied rout and it goes wrong you can fubbar your car/ECU!

    Thank you guys.
I didnt know of the banned copies.. Sorry..

But is there any way of hardware tricks to do it then?
Like instead of shocks putting a resistor in the cables in the wheelarches?

You will have to get to the dealers, but its not the only module to deaktivate it from.. the light cluster is only a warning that it dosnt work, you probaly need more modules..

But remember IDS is part of "sports" so if completly activated you wont have benifit of the rest of the sports funcktions..

but why just didnt you settle with the hr springs..

My std shocks were leaking oil, three out of four
    And no high milaege either.

But i can say.. the handling improvement s really worth it.
I have read somewhere that you can keep the sportier mode on throttleresponse even thou you disable the IDS.

Probaly yes.. but you will need tech2 so you dont disable everything (too much)

But yes you should be abel to keep it.. but maby worth send a PM to the user Spoons as i think to recall he removed his IDS+ suspension on his OPC/VXR. maby he can remember what he did
