Sounds like the switch on the drivers door, I think the car will lock if any other door is open, don't know exactly where the switch is though

That's probably because the system thinks the drivers door is still open. I can lock my car up with any door (or hatch and bonnet) left open apart from the drivers door.

No idea where the sensor is; at a guess inside the door itself, somewhere near the door stay bar?? Be careful not to tear the plastic membrane behind the door card though when you take a look as I believe the side air bags rely on a sealed membrane to work properly.

I think it's within the door catch bit, the door stay/catch plate as Dave said.

I've had this on and off recently,Vaux say there is no switch and it's all part of the door catch assembely - i can cure mine by undoing the door multi-plug and re-fitting

Mine only seems to do it when i use the dead lock so i can live without it

    thanks for your help lads

the sensor is part of the door catch and its all 1 unit inside the door so its a new complete lock that i will have to get

Lee, Just Cured Mine, Blasted The Door Control Switches With A Light Wd40 Type Cleaner After It Got Drenched In The Last Deluge Of Rain When I Was Gettinginto / Out Of The Car. It Is Impossible To Avoid It Getting Wet, Anyhow You Need To Spray The Switches Covering The Whole Lot And Then Keep Pressing The Switches On/off To Get The "oil" In To Release The Damp, I Also Sprayed The Wiring Connections Near The Door Hinges And Where The Steel Bar Connection Goes Into The Door Internals Where I Presume The Door Open Switch Is Located, I Then Left This Overnight, Came To Open Up This Morning And It Worked First Time, Every Time, Then Gave It All Another Coating (also Down Into The Door Pins Just In Case).

    Good Luck.

I had a problem with the passenger door being detected as open. Holden replaced the door module under warranty to fix it.

You may want to try various combinations of locking and unlocking the door while playing with the pin and the door handles. I (temporarily) cured my problem this way.
