Does anyone know how to get the side impact sensors ( below front seat belts ) off without breaking them?

No mate the actual side impact sensors, bolted to the inner sil just below the front seatbelt mechanism, the bolts seem to come the other way on them?

The pre-tensioners are attached to the front seats on the center console side

Nope, that grommet us only to unbolt the seat belt.

I'm just wandering if the little bolts screw out backwards via a tiny tiny torx bit?

Yeah I've got as far as exposing them nige mate just can't figure out how they come out lol, I can only presume the bolt screws out backwards of you've got to chisel the whole bracket off and spot weld back on, which seems daft if that's the case lol

    Hi mate,

Remove the cover that's over the end of the bolts, and then slide the sensor to the left OR right (can't remember which off hand). The bolts are in elongated holes.

    Hope that helps
