Default Expansion tank lower hose clip removal help please

    Hi all,

this will probably be a stupid question but I searched and didn't find any info, so..

The bottom hose that conects to the black expansion tank at the rear has a metal clip around it but it doesn't have anything to loosen it, I run my finger all around it and its all just a smooth metal surface.

Can someone please tell me if its just a case of pull it off and push on the new expansion tank, or is there another method.

    Any help advise apreciated.

There is a tool for removing and refitting them clips but what i did was prise it off with a flat head and renew with jublee clip , if you look closely at it theres a piece thats folded over which hols itself in place

Got it sorted, it wasn't the clip I originally thought (the one on the hose itself). Theres a plastic block that connects to the back of the expansion tank that had a "u" shaped clip holding it on. Heres a couple of pics of the new tank installed and getting up to temp with the cap off to let any air escape
