1mm cable is a bit OTT, 0.25mm will do, not that much current flow.
If it helps, The easiest connector for the rear light I found (and based on older posts here) is a 3.5 Floppy Disk Drive connector.
where would i get 0.25mm cable from tried ebay
what about 16/0.20, 0.5mm2, 11.0A - cable OD 1.6mm
or
32/0.20, 1.0mm2, 16.5A - cable OD 2.0mm
i know nothing about wires lol

Hi, sorry for the rushed reply last night.
I assume you have seen the 3 How2's about adding a rear light.
1st, have you checked to see if the wiring loom (ribbon cable) already exists from the front light to the new rear light??
If it does then it is much easier.
If no loom then adding the wires is a pain, but do-able.
Do you have access to a scrap computer power supply??
If so you can use the 3.5inch power connector and leave the wires as long as possible. Any connector for a HDD can be left in place, to try and leave the wires long enough to reach the front.
I have the necessary wiring in work and can send it to you if this will help.
thanks
i have an old pc in the attic will have a look .
yeah had one in the attic
trimmed it down with a craft knife fits perfect thanks.
just need to get some wire now.
Do what I did and just push the wires onto the pins with a bit of tape to stop them shorting out.
