    Default Really annoyed now, blue smoke upon me again!!!

    After so long having new bits replaced, 6 weeks of no problems apart from battery light coming on 5 minutes of driving, light fault that now is solved. I thought the car was at long last fixed til white blue smoke bellowing now

    What is a known fix? To pinpoint actual issue! Tech2 shows no issues so not electrical related problem, egr valve is spot on. So what else???

    Hope someone who had the bluefish smoke can help what was done to fix it etc so I can cross out the area and narrow it down further.

    How many miles ur car done? Mines smokes bad on first start up goes any after cars wam been told its valve stem seals

    Blue smoke upon start up is indeed most likely to be caused by worn valve stem seals; blue smoke all or most of the time implies a more expensive problem further down in the engine rather than just the cylinder head.

    Not startup, it's more when engine is at over 80•c it does that,

    1.9 150

    240,000 full service history

    Not turbo
    Oil level fine, no faults come up.

    I'm having the same fault, but my engine has only done 46k so fingers crossed one of us finds it

    If turbo seals are defiantly ok, have compression test done wet & dry

    Possibly worn piston rings

    The booster valves cleaned, edf valve cleaned and recleaned but only did it to ensure its working well.

    Hose from booster sensor is cracked, ordered new hoses to replace but duck tape to temp seal til then,

    Rpm when idle is at normal but when I put foot down, it stops at 4,000rpm was expecting it to go further, what does that mean? It might be the Curput! ???

    Will have a quick see if prisons rings are ok, turbo valves definitely ok as I removed broken one for new one, checked valves and seals before I finished up so I know they're good. Maybe lower intercooler hoses on both side need replacing, want to do that cos its prone to split cos of being at the weak point really. Anyone know of the size etc so I can go get red silicone to replace and correct size dive hose clips too.
