Question Black Box, DVR in car crash recorder.

Afternoon all. Have done a forum search but found nothing.

After a recent incident involving a prat in his beemer that pushed me over into smashing both mirrors on my work Astra van, a parked car and one of his own, I've decided to install a recorder in my Vc as it was my word against his and a bloke at the bus stop backed him up.

Has anyone got a Black box video recorder fitted to there Vc?.

Have looked at the roadhawk RH series, but don't like the fact it can't be hard mounted and is visible and therefor prone to having your window popped and had away.

Thinking about getting the following one but ideally would want a two camera system. Checked the dimensions and looking to install the recorder into the panel next to the front interior lights and the camera in the front of the headlining to the left of the rear view mirror. System records on a 48hr loop (with a 32gb upgrade) and turns on and off via the ignition.

Any views on other systems, as I'd like a AUX input to run a reverse camera from.

Pic info: Said prat on left with his car that was traveling towards the camera shot. My Astra with tail open parked on the near side of the road. Silver car behind the beemer, my nearside mirror struck it's off side. Fat wide boy getting involved from bus stop out of shot.

I've driven this road for years, you can fit two cars easy. For me to have been in a postion to strike both the parked car on my left and his, I gauge he had at least 3 foot of space between him and the silver Audi.
