    Default Anti roll bar link, and front shocker

    Hi people
    any one got any advice on a easy way to put back the antirollbar link back into the front shocker on a vectra as i found this really difficult

    Long time since I did mine, but put a jack under the hub assembly so you can move the hub up and down to match the height of the droplink.

    Cheers for that , do you no what size the nut is on top of the shocker to release the spring its a vectra c 2007 , ive noticed there is also a torx nut any easy options here to undo it all:d

    hi when putting a new spring on the shocker do you need to compress this as well while you tighten everything up

    Strut top nut is 21mm Iirc and yes you need to compress the spring otherwise u will have no head left also jack both sides or tue car up makes it Easyer to get the drip links back on
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    Yeah , basically you need to compress the spring while
    It's bolted in the shock , then once it's compressed it's then safe to undo top strut nut and change the bearing

    the top shocker bolt is 21mm but would you use a deep socket for this as you also need to hold the torx screw for the shocker as well so it dosent all move when you undo the shocker bolt which is best to use or will it undo without it all turning

    but if you use a socket then you cant get anything on the torx not sure what to use

    Hold the shock arm with mold grips the silver bit don't squash it though
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info
