    Default Eonon owners????

Think im gonna get 1 these to replace my CD70. Basically wanted to know what there like? Unsure whether to go for 1 of the vauxhall specific 1's or 1 of the other universal double units as much cheaper. Opinions please

The Vauxhall specific ones merely have a tapered facia plate to match the profile of the Vauxhall centre dash.

I have had loads of questions in the past on other forums about the CAN wires on this...

They do not link to the display, only to the steering controls. - so as such they are only CAN signal conversion wires (via a black box), not true CAN communication with the car.

As far as looks and functionality, then they have far more to offer than a CD70 etc..

Regarding durability and working life before failures happen, I do not know if, when and how they fail.

Do bear in mind though, that if you go for a Universal unit, then you would still need to buy a facia adapter plate.

1st time I've seen these, very smart.
The VXMMI ones are even dearer, BUT they say BID/CID compatable, but how compatable it doesnt say.
